TAFE NSW - South Western Sydney Institute is an accredited vocational education and training institution which has built a reputation for industry responsiveness, quality student services and accessibility to all in its community. We are part of the TAFE Commission of NSW, which was established as a statutory body under the TAFE Commission Act of 1990.

There are nine colleges in the South Western Sydney Institute - Bankstown, Campbelltown, Granville, Lidcombe, Liverpool, Macquarie Fields, Miller, Padstow and Wetherill Park. All nine colleges are within one hour’s drive of one another, and are adequately serviced by the public transport system.

The Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality has courses from Certificate level right through to Advanced Diploma. Areas of study include Travel, Meat & Butchery, Events, Commercial Cookery, Catering, Food & Beverage and Hospitality Management. Graduating students are snapped up by Industry, who are looking for a skilled work force.

The Faculty has formed successful industry partners with several prominent industry leaders including: Star City. Novotel Sydney Olympic Park, Revesby Workers Club, Club Marconi, Illawarra Catholic Club, Club Menai and Merrylands Bowling Club – to name a few.
